TRUST Equestrian

Stitched around a nylon core, these bits are tanned without the use of chemicals, ensuring they are as natural as possible. When saliva contacts the leather, it softens and molds to the horse’s mouth, creating a flexible effect. This combination of flexibility and the natural taste of leather makes TRUST Leather bits an excellent choice for horses with very sensitive mouths.

Metalab

The bits covered with leather have an ergonomic mouthpiece that offers more comfort to the horses. This comfort leads to a clearer signal and better communication between horse and rider.

All benefits of leather bits: 

  • Pinchless: the bit does not pinch on the tongue, but rolls over the tongue.
  • Leather: leans closer to nature, is softer and does not feel cold. Briefly, a more pleasant feeling in the horse’s mouth.
  • Anatomical: the preformed bit provides a better fit.
  • Symmetrical: from the center piece to the rings the distance is the same, which is not the case with a normal broken bit, this gives a better balance and equilibrium for the horse.

Most riders want a nathe bit but our Trust Inno Sense Flexi Soft range has the same flexibility as a nathe but the material is muh softer.

How do I know if my bit fits

If your bit fits well your horse will show happy behaviour. Make sure there is enough space for your horses tongue and that the bit does not push on your horses teet.

Which bit is best for a young horse?

We always recommend a soft mouthpiece for young horses. The flexi soft range and the leather range is our most popular for young horses.
