1. Bit rings/Bit guards
- Rubber rings placed on either side of the bit to prevent the bit from pinching your horses lips
- Improve your horses ccomfort.
- Help stabilize the bit in the mouth.
2. Rein Connectors/Pelham roundings
- Leather straps or rope straps that allows the pelham bit to be used by a single rein and not double reins.
- Useful for less experienced riders or specific disciplines.
- Double reins are useful for more experienced riders whom can differentiate their communication with the horse between the top and bottom rein.
4. Bit Keepers
- Small leather loops that help hold certain types of bits (like full cheek snaffles or fullmers) in the correct position.
